Recently more and more people have been running their RC cars with upside down shocks on smooth, high-grip off-road tracks. Will it work for you?  Maybe.

Shocks upside-down

  • Lower center of gravity
  • More unsprung weight
  • Less chassis roll, more stable in corners
  • Reduces lifting of front end when on-power

Shocks right side-up

  • Higher center of gravity
  • Less unsprung weight
  • More chassis roll
  • More likely to lift front end on-power
